Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our team, on a full-time basis, to work on our Energy Services project in Hull.
Our improvements such as solid wall insulation, boiler upgrades and renewable energy technologies help residents to heat their home for less and live healthier and happier lives. Fortem Energy were chosen by Hull City to deliver a programme of housing energy efficiency improvements across the City for the next five years. The £60m scheme aimed at council owned and right to buy properties is the largest scheme of its kind in the UK to date. In partnership with the council we plan to deliver energy improvements to a minimum of 3,000 homes in phases.
This role involves assisting with the management of the External Wall Insulation project. You will ensure works are delivered against programme deadlines and are compliant, including ensuring health and safety standards are met on multiple sites across the client area.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- A track record of successful delivery of projects in a variety of construction operations.
- Minimum relevant level 4 qualification (HNC / NVQ4).
- Appropriate CSCS card.
- SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid at Work certificate.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen problem solver
- Ability to work well under pressure
- IT skills, MS Office, ECDL, MS Project
- Scaffold Inspection, PASMA Trained
- To work effectively with CLO and assist in training of technical aspects and supply chain management.
- Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
- Understanding of job costing
