Jark Construction (Norfolk) are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager for new build site in Norfolk this position is to start March and the contract is for a perm position. (PREVIOUS NEW BUILD EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a construction site, have their own PPE, valid CSCS card.

The pay rate is dependent on experience.

The role - Assistant Site Manager:

You will need to be an experienced Assistant Site Manager who boasts experience in the new build housing sector. You will be reporting to a Site Manager and will be responsible for managing and controlling the day to day site activities to meet programmes in accordance with the company policies and procedures on construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
• Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
• Requisition and management of materials/delivery
• Issue subcontractors with regular short term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
• Hold progress meetings
• Display on site an up to date copy of the construction programme indicating the progress to date
• Liaise with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships
• Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
• Handle all customer care issues in a timely and professional manor
