Assistant Quantity Surveyor vacancy - housebuilder

Caralex Recruitment Limited are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading well-regarded housebuilder working on sites within the Thames Valley region and surrounding counties. 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience in a previous quantity surveying role, ideally at trainee or assistant level. 
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• A proactive approach to working in a team
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A high degree of IT literacy
• Full UK driving licence
  

The position includes carrying out the quantity surveying duties and responsibilities in line with the duties as identified. The appointed person will be undertaking the following:

• Produce commercial reports
• Raise Purchase Orders
• Undertake tender analysis
• Assist in report writing and the production of programming documentation
• Monthly valuations
• Attend progress meetings
• Undertake measurement from drawings
