Assistant Merchandiser

The Company:

An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join an online home textiles retailer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, growing business.

The Role:

• Assist with admin tasks to gain a good understanding of the Merchandise function.
• Understand the Merchandising function and where they sit in the business model.
• Liaise with factories to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Prepare sales analysis for the team to help with planning.
• Support the team when necessary.
• Ownership of data and admin tasks.
• Help prepare data for the product team as required.
• Cover for holidays and sickness.
• Understand the business, business model and customer.

Skills Required:

• Highly organised
• Attention to detail
• Numerate
• Administrative and accuracy skills
• IT skills including Excel
• Adobe skills preferable
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Clear communicator
• Graduate with a Buying/Merchandising degree.
