Assistant Merchandiser - Concessions

This role with involve forecasting, sales analysis, and critical path management across a number of different concession websites and store locations.

A great opportunity for a Assistant Merchandiser - Concessions to join a leading apparel business in the Trafford Park Area. The business has a number its own brands / trading websites. Due to business growth they are seeking to add to the Merchandising team to support a number of different concessions such as New Look, Zalando etc.

Description

• Support the concessions team to develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of critical paths to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support the concessions team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales figures, and other relevant data.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of merchandising initiatives.
• Utilize sales data and historical trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Conduct regular sales analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Monitor product performance and make recommendations for markdowns, promotions, and assortment adjustments

Profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing critical paths is highly desirable.
