Sheridan Maine is partnering with an organisation to recruit for an Assistant Financial Controller to join its dynamic team. This role promises a fantastic opportunity to progress your career, supporting the Group Financial Controller with the financial activity across the European entities.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, your key areas of responsibility will include:
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Oversee and support the accounts payable and accounts receivable function.
  • Ensure financial information is delivered efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
  • Conduct financial analysis that offers targeted recommendations aimed at enhancing financial performance.
  • Drive innovation by proposing and implementing improvements to financial processes and procedures.

To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Part qualified, actively studying towards the CIMA or ACCA qualification.
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed with a passion for accounting.
  • A solid grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
