Five Education is looking for a part-time, 20 hours per week, Assistant Compliance and Payroll Administrator to work in our office. We are an independent, SEND specialist recruitment agency finding work for Teaching Assistants and Teachers.
We're a small niche agency with clients spanning the South West. We are passionate about providing the highest levels of staffing services to our clients and supply staff throughout the South of England and Wales. Set up by a former Teacher, we pride ourselves in understanding our clients' needs and believe in offering our staff the most suitable roles available to them. We are one of the fastest growing agencies in the South West with ambitious but professional staff.
This role is based in our central Bristol office and although the hours are 20- hours this could be worked over 3-5 days and the start times and end times are flexible.
The Role
• Compliance checks for every candidate interviewed by Five Education
• Sending for references, checking they meet our safeguarding standards and cover all necessary gaps
• Ensuring candidates have a right to work in the UK
• Processing DBS checks for candidates
• Working with the consultants to ensure candidates are suitable for the role and have provided all necessary documents.
• Providing a smooth and easy journey through the recruitment process for the candidates
• Assisting consultants as to when candidates need overseas police checks and how to obtain those
• Supporting the director with additional administration as needed.
• Supporting with payroll and financial administration, this includes obtaining credit notes, liaising with payroll and helping with general payroll enquiries.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes such as Right to Work, or Safeguarding

The pay for this role is £10.90 per hour
The Candidate
• Ideally, you will have excellent written and verbal English
• You will need to be confident to speak with clients, candidates, and a wide range of people
• Knowledge of right-to-work information/ DBS checks / Payroll and invoicing.
• An eye for detail, this is a very detail-heavy job
