Where is the role?

Our client is a brilliant, growing business who are looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join their team. Reporting into the Management Accountant, this role gives great opportunity for growth and expansion of skills within a supportive environment.

What will I be doing?

The role will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports,
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations,
  • Collaborating with senior members of the finance team to create budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Supporting with the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Where will I be based?

The role is based centrally in Manchester so you must be prepared to travel but the business does offer a hybrid model, therefore, once settled into your role, you'll only need to be in the office 3-4 days per week. Hours-wise, the business are happy for you to start from 7am - 9am and finish 3pm - 5pm.

What do I need?

We're looking for someone who is AAT Qualified or a Graduate, who has at least two years of experience working in finance.
