Assistant Accountant

A Multi-National Organisation has recently reached out to Mitchell Adam to find a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join their modern and sleek offices in Birmingham City Centre. In this Assistant Accountant role the successful candidate will be working directly alongside the Management Accountant, you will be completing month end tasks and assisting the senior staff complete management packs. After a period of training you will be completing tasks by yourself and even occasionally presenting your findings in front of senior management. These responsibilities will springboard you to senior experiences and avenues for progression.

• To have experience completing month end tasks such as accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• To be confident and charismatic, in this role you will be interacting with senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
• To currently be studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have already passed some of the examinations required.
• To have aspirations and a strong work ethic. In this position there will be avenues for progression for those who are able to take on senior responsibilities.
