Job Title: Aseptic Release Officer

Location: Newcastle

Employment Term: Permanent

Salary: £23,000 starting salary, rising to after probation £28,430

Hours of works: 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday on a rotating shift pattern of early and late.

SRG are working with a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in Newcastle who work with various forms of pharmaceutical products are looking for an Aseptic Release Officer to assist with the production of cancer medications for the immediate use in hospitals.

The Job

The successful Aseptic Release Officer will have hands on experience either in industry or academia with aseptic environments and understand the process of working in an isolator.

  • Performing the aseptic compounding and release of oncology products
  • Quality Control release of materials in accordance with defined procedures
  • Build new products, compile applicable documentation and co-ordinate their approval on bespoke Software Package
  • To investigate new product opportunities including practical development work, raw material procurement and searching for published stability data
  • To observe and actively promote Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as per company SOPs

Your Experience

To Be successful, the Aseptic Release Officer needs to have:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience of working to GMP.
  • Scientific degree (or equivalent) is highly desirable but not essential, depending on experience.
  • Strong up to date knowledge of Aseptic Processes or Quality Release of Aseptic Finished Products
