Are you passionate about nurturing creativity and inspiring young minds? Empowering Learning is proud to represent a reputable Secondary School in Langley Mill, currently seeking a dynamic Teacher of Art and Photography to join their team for a maternity cover starting in September.

Position: Teacher of Art and Photography (Maternity Cover)
Contract Type: Part-time (0.8 FTE)
Day Off: Tuesday
Commencement: September
Salary: Paid to scale from the start

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ignite students' imaginations, develop their artistic talents, and foster their appreciation for the visual arts. We are seeking a dedicated individual who can create engaging lesson plans, provide constructive feedback, and cultivate a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality Art and Photography lessons to secondary school students.
  • Developing and implementing creative curriculum content.
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialisation in Art and/or Photography.
  • Previous experience teaching secondary school students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
