Job Description:

My client is looking to strengthen is sales team with the key appointment of a Sales Professional to be responsible for generating business within the A&D Community, Interior Designers and Contractors for this leading Architectural Ironmongery company covering London and the surrounding areas.

Key Duties Will Include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Architects in your area.
  • Influence hardware specifications using the product portfolio.
  • Follow up on all new Leads, Projects & Quotes received.
  • Track all projects and outstanding quotes from the design and specification stage through to negotiation and procurement.
  • Prepare annual sales budget forecasts.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives.
  • Present an allotted amount of Company CPD Presentations annually.
  • Keep up to date with technical knowledge and reviewing professional publications.
  • Proactively work alongside an allocated Internal Sales member to ensure your quotes within your quote bank, at whatever stage, are continually followed up and report current and next actions clearly.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will be someone who is looking for a long term career with a respected market leader, who can grow with the organisation.
  • If you have experience in the Architectural Ironmongery, cubicle or door systems sector or a related technical that would be advantageous.

Ideally You Will Have The Following Skills:

  • Collaborative in approach, a team player, end goal focused, persistent, ability to work towards longer term objectives, strong verbal ability, able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, organised, self motivated, numerate and analytical, ability to work autonomously and in team environment
