AREA SALES EXECUTIVE

BASED IN CARLISLE - COVERING CUMBRIA AND SOUTH WEST SCOTLAND

UPTO £32K + £50K OTE + CAR + PHONE + LAPTOP + PROGRESSION

THE OPPORTUNITY:

I am currently recruiting for my client based in Carlisle, Cumbria for an Area Sales Executive to join within their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to a well-known software company who are the market leader within their industry. They are looking for someone who has proven success of IT or Telecom sales to join their team ASAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing effective sales plans utilising sales methodology
  • Understanding customers' specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Develop new business through networking and cold-calling
  • Arrange business meetings and following up leads
  • Attending industry events
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of software, articulately and with confidence
  • Maintaining awareness and increase knowledge of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals
  • Ensuring quality of service through ongoing development of a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications

THE PERSON:

  • Successful track record of B2B Sales Account Management and business development, ideally within the Telecoms industry
  • Commercially aware and customer focussed
  • Able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills
  • Well presented, self-motivated enthusiastic attitude
  • Full driving licence

ABOUT THE BENEFITS:

  • £28,000 - £32,000 per annum - £50K OTE UNCAPPED
