We are working with a client engaged in a range of analytical services within analytical chemistry and physical chemistry. They are part of a wider group that also encompasses microbiology testing. They are a science led business who focus on delivering expertise and capabilities of their customers, with a team of scientists at the top of their game with in-depth experience of their fields.

What you’ll do:

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical chemist with a strong chromatography background who has worked in a pharmaceutical environment. The role will involve primarily working with the following chromatography activities:

• HPLC, GC, IC
• LC MS/MS and LCMS
• GCMS
• GPC
• Method Development
• Validation

You will use a range of detectors, and the site operates to GMP / Good Manufacturing Practice. Experience of working in a regulated environment will be essential as will experience of method development and validation. Please do ensure in your CV and application that these are well referenced.

You will work on the following activities:

• Laboratory based analytical projects
• Client discussions
• Preparation of project plans
• Technical oversight of analytical work
• Complex analysis
• Data review and presentation to clients of data

Your background:

To do this role you will need to have already worked in analytical chemistry in a pharmaceutical environment. Experience profiles vary, and very successful people have joined with 1 year of experience however we are not assigning a upper or lower number to this. • Experience/working knowledge of HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, IC, GPC and TLC
• Method Development and Validation
• Problem solving and troubleshooting
