Main Requirements:
An Air Export Co-Ordinator plays a crucial role in the day to day operations of the export team. The main requirement of this role is effective communication abilities and attention to detail. You will be expected to plan and organize customers shipments from collection to overseas arrival, this will include arranging collection from customers, customs clearances, raising shipping documents ,invoicing and MAWB finalizing. Additionally you will be required to use various software and office tools to input shipment data into the inhouse systems for processing and invoicing. It will be essential within this role to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.


• Previous experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Excel, Word. Preferred but not essential AS400, Lotus Notes and ASM Sequoia
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work accurately with good attention to detail.
• Be able to work as part of a fast paced team
• Effective communication with customers, other departments and other members of the team.
• Good organisation skills
• The ability to prioritise and organise workload
• Use own initiative throughout
• Ability to work under pressure.

Working hours will be a Rota schedule as below;
Week 1 08:00 - 16:30
Week 2 10:00 - 18:30
Saturday: 08:00-11:00 (1 in 5 rotation)

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
As an Export Co-ordinator you serve as a vital point of contact for our customers, the primary focus will be to ensure customers needs and requirements are met in a timely manner. This will involve effective communication with customers, other departments and other members of the team. You will need to report directly to the team Supervisor and escalate to them when required.
• Ensure smooth running of the day to day operations
• Arranging collections and deliveries to airline
• Raising relevant shipping documents
• Handle GDP & DG shipments following company procedures
• Arranging bookings with airlines
• Customs clearances, start to finish knowledge of IPR’s, Licensed entries (SIEL OIEL), Carnet customs procedures.
• Invoicing
• Finalising Consolidations
• Post Flight checks
• Any other reasonable task requested by management team.
