Do you have experience working in a farming or agriculture environment where you have strong knowledge of various farming machinery, running a commercial farm or live stock?

Are you looking for a role that is Monday to Friday, with no shift work, that offers variety and where you will make a real difference to the next generation of agricultural farmers?

The college is renowned for its quality, that has invested significantly in state-of-the-art facilities. In this role you will be based in York, where you will be teaching farmer apprentices on agricultural farming with a focus on agriculture machinery.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a farming or agriculture environment where you have strong knowledge of various farming machinery, running a commercial farm or live stock. Full time or part time role based on your needs

The role:

*Teaching apprentices in line with the Level 2 agriculture course.
*Based at the college on the outskirts of York
*Full teaching training provided
*Will lead the course management

The person

*Have worked in a farming or agriculture environment.
*Extensive experience working on farming machinery, commercial running of a farm or live stock.
*Candidates will hold a qualification in Agriculture or equivalent
*Wants a career in teaching and assessing.
