Our client is a Gaming Company that is looking to hire an Affiliate Manager to join their team at Isle of Man office;

The successful candidate will take responsibility for shaping and directing affiliate management function. You will ensure that a clear strategic plan is put in place to help maximise affiliate returns with a strong emphasis being placed upon the optimisation of channel performance. The company is looking for somebody who will make vital decisions revolving around the identification and management of key affiliates whilst also identifying those affiliates that add little or no value to the programme. There is also a strong requirement to direct and develop the affiliate team with a clear responsibility to ring focus, evaluation, and clarity to the process in order to maximise the effectiveness of team contribution. The ideal candidate is Mandarin literate.

The main goal of the position

The main goal of the position is to maximise revenues from Affiliate Marketing in Asia.

Key Responsibilities I Duties

  • Develop a strategic plan for sign-off that will optimise channel performance by identifying and focusing upon key affiliates whilst recognising and removing under-performing entities from the programme
  • Maintain close relationships with leading affiliate partners and look for further opportunities to increase revenue, sales and leads
  • Identify clear opportunities to recruit new affiliates and provide the necessary support structure to help meet this key objective. This will require to work together with the appointed third-party affiliate recruitment team that has been set up in the Manila office
  • Negotiate commercially sound agreements with all affiliate partners based upon positive c0ntributions from tagged players
  • Create a series of ongoing and innovative promotional offers that help secure prime positions on chosen affiliate partner websites
  • Manage the ongoing production of affiliate creative through the internal creative department
  • Responsibly manage the scheduling of topical banner creative into the affiliate channel according to the ongoing sporting calendar
  • Responsibly manage an existing team of affiliate marketing staff with a requirement to develop these people through a series of appraisals, assessments and the identification of skill gaps in order to construct effective training programmes
  • Set clear targets, goals, objectives and KPI's against which staff performance can be effectively monitored and measured
  • Create and develop effective incentive programmes to help stimulate affiliate performance
  • Provide regular newsletter communications to help support affiliate partners
  • Ensure all affiliate fraud and promotional abuse levels are kept to a reasonable minimum
  • Provide a full suite of periodic reports that regularly evaluate affiliate performance and that will shape ongoing affiliate policy

Evaluation of performance

The Head of Affiliate Marketing will be evaluated on a number of KPIs. Primarily these will be:

  • Gross profit from Affiliates
  • Number of active affiliates
  • Number of active players per active affiliate
