We have a fantastic Locum Advanced Practitioner role available in the Tameside, Greater Manchester area. The role is to support newly qualified social workers in their ASYE.

Responsibilities:

• You will be co-allocated to children and provide practical support and practice learning with all aspects of social work practice
• Support with specific pieces of work which may be more complex and model good practice to aid learning and development of social workers in their ASYE
• The work will be within Children in Need, Child Protection and Cared for Children teams

To be considered for the Advanced Practitioner role…ideally you will have:

• 3+ years' experience of working within children's social work
• Supervisory/Development experience
• Experience of working with ASYEs
• A Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Registration with Social Work England
