An Advanced Practitioner is required for Adoption Now ( Reginal Adoption Agency ) in Bolton.
Duties will include:
• To support, supervise and mentor staff within the Recruitment and Assessment team who are assessing and supporting prospective adopters and their families.
• To provide Quality Assurance of the reports and assessments of staff within the Recruitment and Assessment team.
• To produce high quality reports and assessments including Prospective Adopter Reports (PARs) and Court reports which may be complex.
• To support and promote the development and maintaining of high standards of professional practice both within the team and service;
• To contribute to the day to day management of the team and service
Ashberry Recruitment would ask that applicants meet the following:
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Previous Adoption experience
- Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
- Minimum or one years post qualified experience in Adults social work
- Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
- Possess knowledge of service needs.
- Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
- Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
- Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
