Our Client, Manchester City Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Early Support Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • You will be one of 4 seniors within the team delivering the triaging function, tasks include duty manager rota, supporting and managing staff, allocations, attending meetings with GMP to triage new police referrals, case work and other relevant tasks.
  • Using your professional knowledge and expertise as a professional resource to deliver strength-based interventions and support for residents alongside being a professional resource for other ASC & Health colleagues.
  • These outcomes can range from signposting and providing information and advice right through to the provision of early help, targeted support services, crisis intervention and adult safeguarding responses when needed.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Must have a clean enhanced DBS.
