Admissions Officer

Location: Wandsworth

Rate: £12-£13 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary - could be extended

Introduction: We are a respected education agency working on behalf of a distinguished Secondary School in Wandsworth, London. We are currently seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join the school's administrative team.

Responsibilities: As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the student admissions process efficiently and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Admissions Processing: Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including the processing of applications, documentation, and communication with prospective students and their families.

  2. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

  3. Communication: Act as a point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing information about the school and guiding them through the admissions process.

  4. Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, leadership, and external stakeholders to coordinate admissions activities and ensure a seamless transition for new students.

  5. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with school admissions policies, local education authority guidelines, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Admissions Officer, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant admissions policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
