Our client, a small local financial services firm in Hertford, is seeking a diligent and organised individual to join our team as an Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6-12 months of experience in an office-based environment, looking to develop their skills within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
  • Organise and maintain physical and digital files
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Support colleagues with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist in preparing reports and documents
  • Ensure office operations run smoothly by handling day-to-day tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of experience in an office-based environment
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues
