Opcare, part of the international healthcare company Ability Matters Group, is one of the largest suppliers of artificial limb services to the NHS in England. The company is now looking to recruit an administration team leader at its prosthetic/orthotic clinical and manufacturing contract situated at Queen Mary’s Hospital Roehampton. This is located within the main rehabilitation unit in the lower ground floor of the hospital, providing a manufacturing and clinical base for both prosthetic limbs and orthotic appliances.
Job description and Purpose
This role would be to cover maternity leave for 8 months from May 2018 until end of January 2019. You will be working for a Manager to support the delivery of service to patients, with duties and responsibilities to include:
- Daily co-ordination of the department recording absence/annual leave
- Excel Reporting with Pivot Tables
- Outlook organisation
- Health and Safety Representative duties
- Quality Representative duties
- Assist with Report Writing
Proven track record in administration;
Good working knowledge of IT systems, especially Outlook and Excel.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Able to use own initiative and seek advice when required;
Excellent attention to detail;
Positive and helpful attitude at all times;
Good team player and excellent customer service skills.
