Salary:

£24 - £26,000 p.a.

Special requirements:

2 x Saturdays off per month in the Summer

1 x Saturday off per month in the Winter

A showroom-based Retail company specialising in the design and supply of bespoke fireplace goods to both Retail and Commercial clientele.

We pride our self in excellent products with excellent service to our clients, as well as a "family" approach to employees and company goals.

This role consists of approx. 60% computer based and 40% manual labour responsibilities.

About the role

Administration support to the company as a whole and in particular the sales team as requested by the Manager. This role’s main responsibility is the management of the flow of goods into and out of the premises, inclusive of management of these goods within our CRM software system.

Responsibilities

  • Computer Based Work: Check and follow up Purchases Orders to Suppliers to ensure they are received and delivered inline with requested dates.
  • Computer Based Work Maintain CRM database and diary entries where needed.
  • Computer Based Work Create and process Invoices into the CRM Software.
  • Manual Work: Packaging and dispatch of goods by post / courier as required
  • Manual Work: Filing of client and supplier estimates, invoices, services.
  • Computer & Manual Work: Maintain stock levels of items agreed with the Manager.
  • Manual Work: Maintain warehouse stock and stock product displays.
  • Manual Work: Daily preparation of client goods for the engineers following days works.
  • Manual Work: Assistance in answering incoming telephone calls, processing calls, booking minor appointments onto the diary system.
  • Manual Work: Assistance in greeting customers within the showroom when requested.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in managing goods in and out of a business however big or small.
  • Experience in managing basic company invoices for goods received.
  • Experience in handling incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • High standard of the English language in both spoken and written.
  • Computer literacy (Windows / Microsoft Office Software).
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Enjoy working as a team.
