Admin Assistant
Are you able to speak fluent Welsh AND English? Our client is seeking an Administrator who can provide all round support to this busy organisation on a full time temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be local to the area and will be happy to carry out a wide range of duties including taking calls in both English and Welsh and generally providing administrative support to the team.
The assignment is an immediate start and is expected to last approximately 12 weeks. Home working may be available after an initial training period.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To carry out a range of administrative tasks e.g. typing, filing, photocopying, data inputting, scanning, and creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Deal effectively with general queries or sign post callers. To answer the telephone bilingually - in Welsh and English
- To deal with all correspondence internal, external, email and fax
- Create and translate documents into Easy Read format bilingually internally & externally on request
- To support the department in informal & formal minute taking as required by the teams
- Coordinate diary commitments including the organising and cancelling of appointments and meetings
- To input and maintain electronic data systems
- Be able to deal with information that is confidential and/or sensitive
Skills and qualifications required:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Software. (Word & Excel)
- Typing & active listening skills, with strong organisation, planning & problem solving skills
- Knowledge of working on databases
- Ability to take minutes/notes
- Ability to communicate in English and Welsh
