Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful training company for an ADI Driving Instructor to work in the Culdrose area. Our client is an established training company who do a lot of training for the MOD.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driving instructor who is looking for regular, reliable work

There will be NO evening or Weekend work

The rate of pay (Employed):

  • Salary of £28,250 pro rata (up to £30,000 with the current bonus scheme)
  • £60 per pass
  • Hours of work 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday
  • Fully expensed driver training car with fuel card.
  • Use of the driver training car for private lessons on evenings and weekends (potential)
  • Opportunity to pause the contract to do private lessons during MOD shutdown periods (usually aligned with major holidays such as Christmas, Easter and summer break).

The rate of pay (Self Employed)

  • £715 per licence (1st time pass)

  • All aspects of driver training

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and have held a UK driving licence for at least 3 years
  • Must be ADI qualified
  • Have less than 6 points on your licence
  • Previous experience working as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be patient and encourage learners
