We welcome both band 5 and band 6 registered mental health, general and learning disability nurses to apply. A robust competency framework will be provided in order to support progression from band 5 to band 6 up to within 1 year.You will be required to work as part of the multi disciplinary team assessing and treating young people presenting with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.The ADHD Nurse will work within CAMHS, Education and any other relevant community care settings, providing advice related to ADHD treatment pathways. The focus of the role will be on delivering improved patient care and developing a robust ADHD service. The post holder will be expected to carry a clinical caseload and deliver effective and evidence based practice to children and adolescents with a diagnosis of ADHD.We have a well established supervision structure and actively promote CPD.For further information and / or visit please contact Terry O’Gorman Team Manager at the Andrew Lang Unit Selkirk.
