Acoustic Consultant - Manchester
Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a leading international multi-disciplinary in their search for an ambitious Acoustician to assist in planning permissions and acoustic support for large-scale & landmark developments across the UK. Notable projects that my client is working on includes The National Gallery, the Edinburgh St James Development, and many other impressive schemes! This is an excellent opportunity for an Acoustics Consultant looking to enhance their skills as part of a leading firm based in Manchester.
Ideally, candidates will have 2+ years' experience within the acoustics sector. Alongside this, you should be educated to degree level in Acoustical Engineering or another relevant discipline! Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team is essential and a full UK driving licence are essential for this role.
Typically, your daily duties will include:
- Noise and vibration monitoring.
- Acoustic modelling.
- Acoustic design support.
- Preparation of Acoustics reports.
- Input to Environmental Statements.
