Service Care Solutions are working alongside a National Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit and motivated and meticulous Accounts and Tax Semi-Senior to join their team.

Role: Accounts and Tax Semi-Senior
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per year (+company benefits)
Working: On-site
Location: Leicester

Overview:
A part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA professional with experience in accounts and tax within a practice environment. The role involves managing client portfolios, preparing accounts and tax computations, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts, tax computations, and supporting files for review.
• Ensure all statutory and disclosure requirements are met.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet client deadlines.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Maintain regular client communication, including billing and debt collection.
• Identify additional services for existing and potential clients.
• Attend training to maintain technical knowledge.
• Follow internal procedures and support operational tasks.
• Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA.
• Solid experience in accounts and tax within a professional services firm.
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident managing workloads and coaching others.
• Proactive, organised, and client-focused.
