A leading, independent and dynamic Firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers based in Prestwich are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join their team. The firm have been established for more than 30 years, with a team of over 150 and expanding, they work with a wide range of growing entrepreneurial businesses.
Your new role
As an Accounts Senior you will take responsibility for the preparation of statutory and non statutory accounts for a range of businesses, partnerships and sole traders. You will also be responsible for computing corporation tax returns and ad hoc cashflow forecasting and management accounts. You will be dealing with a selection of very well established, leading businesses from across the region and further afield. We take an entrepreneurial approach to our business, and to our clients' business, and this enables our team to gain significant experience from the very start. The firm will invest heavily in the successful applicant to ensure they become the key point of contact for clients, and gain autonomy and client relationships from the outset.
What you'll need to succeed
This Prestwich based accountancy firm are seeking an experienced accounts senior who has worked within a general practice environment recently. You must be competent in preparing year end financial statements autonomously and gained exposure to a range of businesses varying in size and complexity. The firm require the applicant to work on a full time basis but they will consider people who are qualified by experience, AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA qualified. To be considered for this role you must demonstrate strong communication skills, organisational skills and a good work ethic.
