We are recruiting for an Accountant to joining a thriving and supportive team, based on the outskirts of Cambridge.

This is a crucial role for a firm who prides itself on being the go-to for its’ clients, and who truly value it’s employees, which has contributed to their success.

Reporting directly to the Partner, who will mentor your development, your tasks as Accountant will include:

  • Preparing year end accounts, financial statements and associated corporate tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
  • Supporting the manager with preparing cash flows.
  • Produce independent examinations for charity clients for Partner sign off.
  • Complete VAT returns
  • Prepare schedules for tax returns
  • Act as a key contact for clients, liaise with business heads to resolve queries

You will also provide assistance with the development of junior team members by reviewing their work and offering advice when necessary and ensure your projects are completed within the timescales and budgets set.
