With a proven track record, our client has developed a burgeoning portfolio in both the residential and commercial property sectors. Thanks to their recent outstanding achievements, they are actively seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their steadily expanding team

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for the accounts payable function, providing support to the Finance team and organising the Company’s day-to-day accounting procedures.

Key Duties:

  • End to end management of the AP function;
  • Act as first point of contact for all AP queries internal and external;
  • Administration of the accounts inbox(s);
  • Reconciling bank transactions and statements;
  • Assist with month-end activities including a self-review of all invoice coding;
  • Investigating and resolving outstanding creditor & debtor items;
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense claims, credit cards and prepaid cards;
  • Designing and implementing new finance processes;
  • Educating wider business on invoice coding and group structure;
  • Support to the wider Finance team;
  • Management of the finance team monthly planner;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects such as implementation of the PO system.

Required:

  • Proven work experience in an Accounts Payable role, working with a high volume of transactions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • NetSuite Experience desired
