Accounts Payable Assistant Maternity Cover

Our client, an impressive market leader in their chosen field, is looking to source a hard-working and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy, forward thinking team to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is a rare vacancy due to high level employee retention and is an excellent opportunity to join an international company renowned for looking after their staff.

Key accountabilities include:
*Registering supplier invoices and credit notes onto the system
*Matching, batching and coding invoices
*Completing daily cash reconciliations
*Reconcile supplier statements
*Resolve invoice queries from suppliers and members of staff
*Multi-currency reconciliations

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience working within a fast paced, high volume Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable role with international exposure. You will be self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will possess strong inter-personal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. On offer from our client is the exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy Accounts Payable function, aiding personal development and growth. The role is anticipated to last for 6 months initially but this may be extended.
