Reed Practice are partnering with a local Colchester firm, to recruit a Senior Accountant.

The business offers a wide range of accounting services to clients from a range of sectors. The Partners bring a breadth of historical experience, have qualified in Top 10, local firms and even one qualifying in industry, which provides the team with strong support and mentoring.

The firm has developed an enviable reputation in the region and are growing at a constant pace.

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients, a range of which will be large enough to keep you busy but small enough to so that you are not overworked.

You will:

• Develop sound relationships with clients, be a reliable contact and advisor.

• Statutory year end accounts to UK regulations

• Preparing associated corporate tax returns

• Creating self-assessment tax returns

You will be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified or qualified by experience with considerable experience in an accounting firm working to UK regulations.

The Senior Accountant will need to be commercially aware with a professional approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organisational and time management abilities.
