Accounts Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s busy Finance department based in Central London. The successful candidate will be capable of handling all aspects of purchase ledger and sales ledger, with advanced skills in Excel and Sage.

Main Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Accounts receivable
  • Credit control
  • Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Resolve any incoming queries
  • Bank, credit card and purchase ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Cashbooks
  • Process BACS payments
  • Prepare journal entries including payroll
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports
  • General data entry

Successful Candidate:

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in AP and AR
  • Strong Excel and Sage skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Part/fully qualified AAT or equivalent
