The company - an accountancy firm with a primary location on the borders of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, with offices in both counties. They are extremely successful and have been the longest serving firm in their area. They have a low staff turnover and provide a positive working environment.

The role – The firm has recently completed the acquisition of a smaller business and are now looking to add a new Accounts Manager to the team.

Reporting to the Partners, primarily located in the Suffolk office and working with a widely diverse portfolio of clients, the role will involve –

• Managing a portfolio of clients – these will be a diverse range of entities, from HNW individuals to larger tech businesses.

• Review and finalise year end accounts for said clients.

• Tax compliance and planning.

• Planning work, allocating to team, supervision of staff, mentoring their development.

• Occasional projects such as high-level tax projects, R&D and other areas.

The successful candidate –

If you are looking for progression to senior management this role is for you as partnership prospects are available for the right person, if you so desire.

A competitive salary plus profit sharing bonus is also available.

You will have trained and have gained suitable experience in an accountancy practice, producing work to UK regulations.

AAT, ACCA and other appropriate qualifications are preferred however for those with solid experience looking to study will definitely be considered.
