Accounts and Financial Reporting Manager

Are you a qualified accounting professional with a passion for technical excellence, managing staff and client service? This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, managing a portfolio of dynamic corporate clients and playing a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting solutions.

This role could suit somebody who is already in a similar role, or alternatively currently working in Audit but with practical accounts experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse portfolio of medium to large corporate clients

Oversee the preparation of financial statements in line with FRS 102 and IFRS

Collaborate closely with internal and external audit teams

Provide expert technical accounting advice to clients across various sectors

Lead FRS 102 transition projects including revenue recognition and lease accounting

Prepare detailed technical reports and accounting memorandums

Mentor and support the development of junior team members

Contribute to business development efforts and nurture client relationships

Take ownership of WIP management, billing, and financial performance for your portfolio

About You:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS

Proven experience in corporate financial reporting and consolidations

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

Highly organised, responsive, and comfortable working to deadlines

Large firm experience would be great - but it's not a must have
