Accounts Assistant Role Overview
NC Associates are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join a growing north west based firm for their Chester based office. Due to continuous growth, they require an Accounts Assistant to join their experienced team in providing accurate and timely processing of financial transactions for the firm in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning and processing of purchase ledger invoices, Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
- Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
- Preparation of monthly management accounts MI reporting.
- Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- General ad hoc Accounts duties to support the Accounts team as required.
- Support with daily legal cashiering duties and provision of holiday cover for cashiering team
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Positive self-starter who can work on own initiative.
- Professional and courteous approach.
- Ordered, process led approach.
- Numerate with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in order to deal with both internal and external relationships.
- Proficient IT / Excel skills
