Our client a Chartered Accountancy Practice are seeing an Accounts Assistant to join their growing firm on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an Accountancy Practice and will be either AAT qualified or studying towards their AAT qualification.

The successful Accounts Assistant will be tasked with running a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, VAT returns, preparing CT computations and SA tax returns.

Accounts Assistant Position Overview

  • Preparation of accounts for clients

  • Running a portfolio of clients under the supervision of senior members of staff

Accounts Assistant Position Requirements

AAT qualified or studying towards AAT qualification

Relevant experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential

No tax experience required, in house training will be provided.

Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration

Salary £22,000 - £26,000

Hours 37.5 per week (flexible start and finish times)

Annual leave 24 days + bank holidays
