Description

Accounts Assistant duties include:

  • Providing business and financial administration support to the Finance Director
  • Assisting with the end-to-end management of the accounts payable function including inputting invoices into the financial accounting system (Xero)
  • Assisting with the management of employee expenses ensuring that these are entered and reimbursed in a timely manner
  • Operating the company's project operating system (Harvest) and assisting with timesheet recording for our consultants
  • Supporting the accounts receivable process to ensure accurate and efficient income generation
  • Input into periodic reporting (financial, management and operational performance)
  • Liaising with the HR team in relation to new starters and leavers
  • Providing support to the Finance Director and the wider team as required
  • Supporting ad hoc finance projects as needed

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:

  • A proven track record in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

  • A salary up to £27,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
