Position – Accounts Assistant

Location- Pendle

Salary – 30k

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Pendle, I have the pleasure in supporting this wonderful company in their search for their next Accounts Assistant superstar. This company prides itself on its forward-thinking attitude and social and sustainable responsibilities. Working in a small finance team you will be the backbone of the department. This is a temp to permanent position.

Main Duties:

  • Bank Audits
  • Organise year cut off.
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Maintaining Operating Lease Schedules
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Monthly Raw Material Stock Control
  • Monthly Work In Progress (WIP) Stock Control
  • Reviewing Creditors Payments (Purchase Ledger & Cash Book)
  • Back-Up Purchase Ledger Payments to Max

Knowledge, skills and qualifications

  • Experience in an accounts department within a manufacturing business. 
  • General Understanding of cost accounting
  • Leadership skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding mathematical skills
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Reliability
  • Good written, verbal, communication, and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
