Accounts Clerk / Accounts Assistant | Boston | Contact 3 months initially possible longer term

McCarthy James Recruitment are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk / Accounts Assistant to join their client on an initial 3 month contract with possible longer term opportunities. This is a varied role working in an interesting sector which is constantly evolving. As the Accounts Clerk / Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger:

  • Purchase Ledger - Matching, batching, coding of invoices
  • Sales Ledger - Raising of customer invoices and dealing with any queries
  • Reconciling bank statements on weekly basis
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Posting payments to the system
  • Assisting the Finance team to support company activities

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 2 years experience working within an accounts department, possibly AAT studier / AAT Qualified
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail
