Accounts Administrator

Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a well-established company based in East Grinstead who due to growth are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and customer service support by issuing quotations, raising sales orders and invoicing
  • Matching purchase orders to goods receipts and approving supplier invoices for payment
  • HMRC reporting of EU sales and Intrastat
  • Assisting the Head of Marketing with events (including timetabling, registration and logistics)
  • Shared responsibility to answer telephones, open post and other assorted general office duties
  • Purchase supplies and equipment as authorised by management
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Willingness to 'pitch in’ and assist where needed
  • Proactive credit control
  • Participate in the reporting of financial accounts

Required skills

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
  • Experience of accounting software (preferably Quickbooks) gained in an accounts environment
  • Quick learner who can hit the ground running
  • Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure & use their own initiative to prioritise tasks
  • Must have attention to detail and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a small, friendly team in a fast pace environment

A competitive salary of up to £21K DOE

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
