An opportunity for an Account Manager to join an award-winning marketing and brand communications agency who work with a raft of well-known brands is looking to expand their team. This agency has grown sensibly and organically over the last 2 - 3 years so it is a great time to join and add value to their continuing success.

The Account Manager role

You will be developing award-winning campaigns for some iconic brands and involved in the implementation and execution of a range of marketing campaigns from brief to completion. Your portfolio of accounts will cover retail, trade and a hint of B2B, so experience across these sectors will be handy. You will develop inspired creative briefs and propositions with the support of the planning and creative teams, and add value to the creative process by providing relevant information, insight, stimulus and competitor understanding. This will be achieved by working closely with your Account Director, briefing/directing the creative teams, providing direction and clarification. A real interest in advertising and retail marketing is essential as you will be working across TV, digital, social, in-store and press campaigns to develop truly outstanding creative work. What sets this role apart is that you will play an active role in the creative and strategic development of the agency's campaigns; you will handle projects from the brief onwards, ensuring each is completed within the budget and to the timescale, and work with both external suppliers and senior staff.

What we're looking for

To be considered for this role, you will be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external suppliers, and have a solid understanding of studio processes, in particular, press, print, DM, studio and repro. You'll ideally have a relevant degree, preferably in a marketing or related discipline, alongside a minimum period of approximately three years agency based or in-house marketing experience, which ideally has a lean towards the retail/consumer sector. You'll be a dab hand with all the usual Account Manager tasks such as status reports, quotes, financial management, timesheets, and so on. So organised, proactive and efficient are pre-requisites. You'll also be expected to write creative briefs, and manage jobs through the studio and muck into pitches as & when necessary.
