Role purpose

Responsible for managing a portfolio of existing retailer relationships and broker relationships, to drive profitable growth and meet key KPI targets

Key Accountabilities

  • Hitting and exceeded key business KPIs, including loan originations, profitability, impairments etc
  • Drive loan origination growth through the managed partnerships
  • Ensure that the partnership is returning the required return rates
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with the regulations
  • Evaluate the underlying performance of each retailer (and broker), understanding the profitability drivers and the levers
  • Develop relationships at multiple levels within retailer and brokers
  • Being the subject matter expert for each partner, their sector and market
  • Developing industry relationships via networking
  • Some travel required within the UK

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in successfully building commercial relationships and delivering against individual KPI targets
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with different level stakeholders
  • Ability to work across a number of functions and skillsets including commercial, strategy, proposition, marketing, risk, operations and technical
  • Proven ability to understand the key commercial drivers of consumer finance schemes
  • Ability to work within and knowledge of regulated credit environment
