Shift Pattern: (part time contract) Sat/ Sun / Monday - 17.5 hours

(Hybrid - Sat/ Sun home working 08.30 - 14.00pm Monday office based 08.30am - 16.30pm

Rate: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an Accounts Handler on behalf of a global company in the Manufacturing industry. This role is on a part time basis of 17.5 hours per week

The successful Accounts Handler will join the Customer Collaborations Team based at the office in Waltham on the Wolds. The Account Handler will liaise and support large clients with their orders from start to finish, escalating any issues with supply or quantity and making sure the whole process is handled with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Account Handler:

Order Fulfillment

  • Progress daily customer orders placed from input through to despatch

  • Identify order variance to forecast or customer where possible to assess impact on total company stocks and take appropriate action to safeguard supply on a broader basis

  • Identify stock shortages and minimise impact to service through liaison with the supply teams and the customer

  • Resolve delivery issues both short and long term through communication with haulier and distribution team

  • Control order conformance to correct lead time and price card rate for customer

  • Contribute metrics, issues and action resolution through the daily CMOS and weekly returns meetings and escalate any unresolvable issues

  • Work cross functionally with stakeholders to iron out any issues with supply chain or demand

Customer Relationship Management

  • First point of contact for the customer with responsibility for communicating day to day supply issues in line with the Perfect Communication process

  • Drive visibility of customer service metrics to the customer team (demand and supply) through daily and periodic customer reporting

  • Build a strong relationship with relevant customer contacts (including visits) to support excellent customer service



Continuous Improvement

  • Continually seek to improve the efficiency and efficacy of tasks to support improved metrics and customer service

  • Use Lean tools available, including basic PDCAs, to assist with problem resolution and implementation of sustainable long term fixes

  • Contribute to the customer TAS action planning process with particular responsibility for actions in relation to the Supply Chain & Logistics and Customer Service elements

Key skills/ Experience of the Account Handler:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Clear communication skills

  • Excellent use of Excel and Mircosoft packages

  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential

  • Organised

  • Can remain calm under pressure/ problem solver

  • Can relay difficult information back to the customer

  • Work cross functionally to gain the best results

  • Previous experience in handling accounts/ account managing large clients

  • Worked in a fast paced environment

  • Working in a hybrid role with little supervision is helpful
