Account Executive based in the North West for a mid size insurance broker firm || up to £42,000
Your new company
In your new job as an Account Executive, you will be working for a independent broker with offices based around the UK. They are known in the industry for building robust relationships with their clients, allowing them to fully understand their insurance needs and offer unparalleled commercial risk advice. Due to growth within the company, they are looking to add an Account Executive into the business in a permanent position.
Your new role
In your new job, you will work alongside a team of Account Handlers accountable for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for producing your own technical documentation, including client presentations and giving technical insurance advice to your less experienced colleagues. In your new job, you will focus on placing open renewals and new business risks via leading insurers and be able to negotiate with underwriters in order to gain good terms on behalf of your clients. Other duties may include meeting clients and helping them with any insurance needs or demands that they may have.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this job you will draw on your commercial insurance experience and in depth market knowledge. You will have a wide appetite for a new business risks and will have previous experience of growing and building portfolio's within the commercial insurance industry. Cert CII qualification is a minimum requirement for this role and you will be encouraged to further your qualifications and knowledge on a daily basis. Previous experience of using the Acturis software is desired.
