AC Service Engineer

£35,000 - £40,000

Full time | Permanent | 45 Hrs, Monday to Friday

Looking for a role that has more local work and less overnight stays?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a AC Service Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to cover servicing of mobile and static medical sites in the Greater Manchester area. 

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience, plus optional overtime with a bonus paid for on-call, pension, life assurance, private medical insurance and you will be provided with a company Credit Card, Van & Fuel Card. Your travel time is also included in you hours of work and pay.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 45 Hours with a 1 hour paid lunch break over Monday to Friday. Paid overtime is available at weekends and on call cover. 1 in approximately 6 weeks will be working an out of hours on call rota system with an additional bonus for this week.

Reporting to the Area Manager your responsibilities as a AC Service Engineer will include:

  • Installation, service and repair of mobile medical trailers including air conditioning units and chillers
  • Occasionally be required to work away from home, with hotels provided
  • Carrying out minor repairs and electrical testing 


The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in a service engineer role
  • Air conditioning or Chiller experience essential 
  • Qualified in F-Gas
  • Electrical qualification would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
