AAT Trainee Accountant

They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an AAT Trainee Accountant. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting senior accountants with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and tax returns.
• Supporting the payroll and VAT processes.
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Utilizing accounting software and tools to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Adhering to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy.
• AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
