3rd Line Support Annalist/Engineer 45K

Based in the City our customer is looking for a senior 3rd Line Support analyst looking to make that next step. As a senior 3rd Line Support Annalist/Engineer you must have proven experience in the delivery of at least one of the following technologies from start to finish as the technical lead, and have an expert understanding of at least two - Citrix XenDesktop (version 7 and above), Microsoft Exchange (2013 and above), Hyper-V or VMWare in a high availability cluster (including all storage configuration and connectivity)

You will have excellent communication skills, proven experience writing coherent documentation such as user guides, and additionally, of utmost importance is your time management skills. This is a role that will be fast-paced, and you will need to be relied upon to adhere to strict deadlines.

Essential Skills:

- Prior experience in Hyper-V private cloud builds
- Experience with, Exchange servers, migration of servers and extensive troubleshooting skills
- Projects using Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
- An excellent communicator who is confident in writing coherent documentation and excellent time management skills
The role will allow you to sinking your teeth into projects from the get-go means that you should bring with you up-to-date expertise in the following technologies; Citrix XenDesktop (or VDI-in-a-box), Microsoft Exchange, VMWare or Hyper-V (high availability clusters), Group Policy, Windows Server and hardware configuration including server installation and RAID configuration.
Advising on what is best, pushing back when suggestions are not optimal and offering transparency throughout. You will also be responsible for providing realistic estimations of timings for implementation. Working together with a Project Manager to plan and document the process, it will then be solely up to the Technical Consultant to take complete ownership of the execution.
